Kristina McCurry with McCurry Events made our wedding day and wedding planning experience the absolute best. When my wife and I asked each other one way we would describe our wedding day we both responded, “magical” and we both recognize this is because of Kristina. Knowing that the wedding planning process can be very stressful, my wife was adamant about having a wedding planner and after her first consult with Kristina I remember her saying, “this is the first time in the wedding planning process I’ve felt at ease.” McCurry events truly provided that ease throughout the year we worked with them. From communicating with all vendors including securing a band with only a months notice due to a last minute cancellations, invitation formatting/sending/receiving, wedding etiquette expertise, family mediation advice, and management of wedding finances. Kristina’s knowledge and execution was impeccable, and even with a larger wedding size Kristina was able to provide a stress free planning process throughout. At no point during the planning process did we feel overwhelmed. Kristina’s expertise and guidance helped provide us the most perfect wedding day. Kristina made my wedding day go smoother than I ever thought possible! She had previously worked with all of my vendors and had previously worked at my Reception location before. She prepared a timeline that worked seamlessly and she was able to share this with all of the vendors. She was there to make sure everything arrived on time and set up to our expectations. My parents, the groom & I did not have to think about one thing after the reception was over since Kristina was able to pack up all of our gifts and decorations. I would highly recommend her for any event or wedding!!

Kristina was fantastic to work with. She just has the calming presence about her that every bride needs in their life. I literally could not imagine our day without Kristina. I brought in a bell cart full of decorations for my wedding. She set them all up, packed them back up, and returned them to my car. My family and I did not have to lift a finger which was so important to me. I wasn't even on site the day of my wedding, she made all the magic happen. If you're on the fence about a coordinator, DO IT. She also acts as a bodyguard when trying to manoeuvre through guests.. it's great, she's wonderful. Kristina and her team were one of the single best decisions my husband and I made planning our wedding!! She was always available and able to put my mind at ease about any question I wanted to bounce off her. What in my mind was a crisis we had the day before the wedding, Kristina was able to fix and make sure our wedding day was PERFECT! On the day of, she went above and beyond...from picking up and delivering my dress and rings, making sure I had sandals to switch into from heels, and giving us the sweetest wedding gift! Kristina was truly a god-send and went WAY above and beyond the call of duty for us. As an experienced wedding coordinator in the Jacksonville area, her connections and background knowledge were invaluable to us throughout the planning process. So many times we turned to Kristina for guidance in making various decisions, and each time she led us to perfect solutions that were clearly based on years of experience. Not only was she the epitome of professionalism and class, but she was SO much fun to work with! She always made herself available to us, whether it be to walk through the venue, meet for lunch, or even come over to our house for an afternoon of planning. In all seriousness, if I could go back, the only thing I'd change would be hiring Kristina sooner! She is so talented and wonderful! In fact, when she arrived at our rehearsal, I cried because I was so happy to see her and immediately felt so at ease knowing she was there. Our wedding turned out just exactly as we'd imagined it, and we can't thank Kristina enough for helping us bring our vision to life!
